Cindy started in real estate sales in the fall of 2007 and within one year was the top selling agent in her office in Hull, MA. She is a resident of Hull and owns several investment properties in Hull.
Cindy also created the website HULLMAgazine.com, which is overflowing with information about this unique coastal community. Her website is visited by well over 1500 DIFFERENT visitors each week.
Along with her websites, MoveToHull.com and NantasketBeachHomes.com, Cindy has developed a substantial presence on the internet along with a huge database of people interested and connected to the Town of Hull and Nantasket Beach.
Cindy started her career in real estate sales shortly after being diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease. “I took my licensing exam at the same time that I was diagnosed. I wasn’t sure I could pursue a new career with this diagnosis, but it was always something I wanted to do and knew if I didn’t do it now, I sure couldn’t do it later!”
“My background was in promotions and publicity as a web designer and publicist for touring artists. I also have a certificate in web/multimedia design and knew I could use all these skills to market my own real estate services.”
Her philosophy is to build one relationship at a time and to work with buyers and sellers with honesty and integrity. “I’ve learned in life to always work with strengths.” To that end, Cindy uses her strengths in internet marketing and “people skills” to build strong relationships and effective promotions.
“Selling a home is very stressful for most people and I try very hard not to stress people out. I have on call a number of reasonably priced service persons who can help prepare houses for listing (repairs, painting, rubbish removal, staging, etc.) as well as a number of flat rate real estate attorneys.”
"Buying a home can also be very stressful. I know the market in Hull. I know each property and I know what buyers should know about each property that they might not know by seeing it on their own. As a Buyer’s Agent, I can give buyers information about each property that they will not find on the Internet."
Living in Hull and working in Hull keeps her "ear to the ground," and on several occasions has found buyers property that they would not have found on their own.
In addition to her work as a real estate agent, Cindy is active in the local Parkinson's Disease organizations, having co-founded The Greater Boston Young Onset Parkinson's Disease Support Group as well as raising funds for The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research. She is also designing an oceanfront property she bought after foreclosure to be accessible."
